Jim Leslie, Angel Investor

Jim Leslie is an entrepreneur who built and sold three companies to publicly traded entities. Most recently, he has been a co-founder and CEO of a venture-backed company that became one of the world’s top 5 education platforms, and he was sold to Microsoft in 2018. He was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005 and recognized as The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Tech Titan in 2015. He is a former Board Director for private commercial and non-profit boards. He's also an angel investor and founder-advisor. He's a member of the New York Angels. Jim founded the Leslie Family Foundation in 1998 to fund scholarships and provide housing and food security to inner-city youth.
