About Jason Spievak, Angel Investor

Jason Spievak is an angel investor and board member of Apeel Sciences, a company that develops plant-derived solutions to reduce food waste and extend shelf life. He is also a lecturer at the College of Engineering at UC Santa Barbara, where he teaches technology management and entrepreneurship. Jason has a wealth of experience in the technology industry, having co-founded and led Invoca, the leading mobile analytics software company, backed by Accel Ventures, Upfront Ventures and Rincon Venture Partners. He has also been involved in several IPOs and M&A transactions, raising over $1 billion in investor equity. Jason is passionate about supporting innovation and sustainability on California’s Central Coast, where he co-founded and manages Entrada Ventures, the leading early-stage venture capital fund in the region. Jason holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA from UC Santa Barbara.
