James Coulter, Angel Investor

James Coulter is a seasoned financial services executive with deep expertise in middle office operations, product development, and alternative investment accounting. He has held leadership roles at U.S. Bank, Arcesium, and JPMorgan Chase, where he developed and implemented complex operating models, trained global teams, and drove product adoption across private equity, hedge, and hybrid fund administration. Earlier in his career, James served as SVP of Product Development at Citco Fund Services, supporting the onboarding of 80 clients onto the firm’s AExeo platform and training hundreds of staff in reconciliation, collateral management, and OTC derivatives valuation. He also spent over a decade as CEO of Athyn Partners, building a foundation in consulting and financial operations. As an investor, James backed Palm Tree Crew in its $6M funding round in 2024, reflecting his interest in ventures that blend culture, entertainment, and finance.
