Jake King, Angel Investor

Jake King is an Australian/Canadian security leader, most recently focused on detection engineering, threat research, endpoint sensor engineering, and applied machine learning/AI at Elastic, and currently working on something new. At Elastic, he led efforts within the Security Intelligence team, where the firm drove the development of security detection capabilities. His work spanned security threat research, product innovation, and countermeasure development that power some of the most advanced features in Elastic Security. Before joining Elastic, he co-founded Cmd, an infrastructure detection and response platform built on eBPF, designed to secure production Linux environments. Jake is also an angel investor. His portfolio includes Tempest, a ready-to-use self-serve platform.
