Inaki Berenguer is a Managing Partner at a $100M fund investing at the intersection of AI and Science. Inaki was cofounder and CEO of CoverWallet, a tech startup reinventing insurance for small businesses. CoverWallet launched in 2016 and raised $60M from USV, Foundation, Index Ventures, Two Sigma, Founder Collective, Hank Greenberg (AIG/Starr), and Highland. CoverWallet has ~400 employees and hundreds of thousands of customers (with up to 1k employees) across the US. In 2020, the company was acquired by Aon, where he remained employed until January 2022. Before, he was cofounder and CEO of Contactive (which also operated Klink), a big data platform for telephone calls acquired by Thinkingphones (now rebranded as Fuze). Prior to that, he was cofounder and CEO of Pixable, a consumer internet startup acquired by SingTel, the second largest telco in the world. He has also worked at Microsoft Corporate Strategy (Redmond) and for 2 years at McKinsey & Co. Outside VC investments, he is also an angel investor in over a dozen firms with a focus on technology, health, fintech, and other sectors. Some of his latest investments are in Goin, Bankflip, Mable, Libera Bio, and Paack.
