Heritage Group is a Nashville-based healthcare private equity firm, founded in 1986 by healthcare entrepreneurs and operators, that makes majority and minority investments in high-growth healthcare services and technology companies. It manages approximately $1 billion across four funds, including Fund IV, which closed above $370 million. Its model pairs capital with strategic investors, including leading hospital systems, payers, and healthcare service companies, who help identify, evaluate, and grow portfolio companies. Investments include ClearDATA, Curana Health, Aviacode, AvaSure, Awarepoint, Connections Health Solutions, Equum, and Aver. The Meharry-Heritage Fellowship supports underrepresented entrepreneurs. Heritage backs healthcare delivery, telehealth, clinical services, value-based care, and healthcare technology businesses that address the challenges of the U.S. healthcare system, with checks of $20 million to $40 million per company. It will consider pre-EBITDA businesses, particularly provider services companies generating revenue.
