About Grow Utah
Grow Utah is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship across Utah, based in Northern Utah. It connects startups with valuable resources through contests, accelerators, and events, led by President and CEO T. Craig Bott, former Director of Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur program.
Its flagship RAMP Startup Accelerator is a 10-week, 3-to-5-hours-per-week program for product innovators in consumer products, outdoor recreation, and manufacturing, offering mentoring, prototyping lab access, and manufacturing expertise, notably without taking any equity from participating companies.
The organization co-hosts RAMP with the LSI Utah Small Business Accelerator, Weber State University's MARS Center, and the U.S. Small Business Administration's Regional Innovation Cluster program. Past cohort companies include Escapod, Entry Skis, ElectraFly, and Skategrounds.
Grow Utah's approach connects entrepreneurs to a network of experienced mentors, including former CEOs and founders across manufacturing, product design, and marketing, along with preferred consideration for follow-on funding from financial partners, investors, and seed funds after completing the program.
