About GreenLight Fund

Founded in Boston in 2004, our national network of sites partners with local communities to tackle the barriers that prevent individuals and families from achieving inclusive prosperity. We select and scale proven programs to directly address those barriers identified by each community. Through hundreds of community conversations, we elevate and prioritize unmet needs often resulting from racial and economic disparities, where an innovative program could make a significant difference locally. Our local team searches the country and deeply vets evidence-based programs best suited to effectively tackle the identified unmet needs locally. In partnership with the Selection Advisory Council, we select an innovative program with significant, measurable results and the best local fit. We help the selected organization reach and sustain impact locally with multi-year unrestricted funding, on-the-ground support, and strategic partnership development.
