Gil Elbaz is the Founder and Chairman of Common Crawl, a nonprofit with the goal of democratizing access to web information by producing and maintaining an open repository of web crawl data that is universally accessible and analyzable. He is also the Founder and CEO of Factual Inc., an advertising and marketing firm. He is also an angel investor in at least 17 investments primarily in the seed, venture, and early series rounds. Some of his investments are in Smashing, OneSignal, Quartzy, Mapsense, Vurb, MindMeld, Scopely, Surf Air, Kaggle, and Locu.
