Genstar currently has approximately $51 billion of assets under management. We are currently managing our 11th fund and actively looking for investment opportunities in founder-owned companies, public company orphans, corporate carve-outs, and traditional buyouts. We focus on global middle market companies headquartered in North America. We take control positions in companies that can benefit from our entrepreneurial and highly supportive approach. We serve on the boards of the companies in which we invest. Our thesis-driven approach to investing gives us an unmatched understanding of the competitive landscape in our targeted sectors (and their sub-sectors). We use this information to source investments, meet industry leaders, and identify M&A opportunities. We make it our business, day in and day out, to know the sectors in which we invest.
