Generation3 Capital LLC is a Chicago-based Private Investment firm pursuing recapitalizations, buyouts, and growth capital in companies operating in the security, automatic identification and data capture and collection (AIDC), life safety, and custom electronics, as well as other sensing and control industries. Our Principals, have over 50 years of experience as entrepreneurs starting, operating and ultimately selling a number of successful businesses. We seek to partner with strong management teams to provide capital, market expertise and industry contacts to help grow the business. Generation3 is seeking investments in companies with up to $30 million in revenues and that are profitable or expect to be profitable in the next 12 months. Our target markets include security, automatic identification and data capture and collection (AIDC), life safety, and custom electronics, as well as other sensing and control industries, which includes products designed to enhance the security and protection of people and premises, fire and smoke detection and remote patient monitoring, HVAC products, industrial controls, sensors and switches, and other products that improve security, comfort and energy use.
