Gary Parsons, Angel Investor

Gary Parsons is a Telecom Executive and Angel Investor. He is currently the Board Member of TORAD Engineering, Chairman of NextNav LLC, and Co-Chairman National Alliance to End Homelessness. Gary Parsons has spent over 40 years in the telecom industry and is noted for the founding or early-stage development of several innovative telecom companies, including XM Satellite Radio, SkyTerra, TerreStar Networks, Telecom*USA, and MCImetro. He served as the founding CEO and subsequently Executive Chairman of XM Satellite Radio from 1997 through its merger with Sirius in July 2008, and stepped down as Chairman of the combined Sirius XM Radio, Inc., in November of 2009. Gary is also a Venture Partner at Columbia Capital, a venture capital firm that has been investing since 1989 and is based in Alexandria, VA. The firm has partnered with top executives to help build communications, media, and technology companies. Over the years, the firm has invested in over 150 companies, many of which have redefined or created new industries.
