Garuda Ventures is a pre-seed and seed-focused firm run by operators-turned-investors. Through Garuda, we invest in ambitious founders building the iconic companies of tomorrow. We primarily focus on companies serving business users. Our investments span categories including vertical and horizontal software, cybersecurity, infrastructure, fintech, and hardware. AI is certainly underpinning all these sectors. We are typically a first-check fund, most often investing in a company’s initial round of funding. We invest as early as pre-revenue and pre-product. Additionally, we make occasional Seed investments in rounds totaling between $4M and $10M. While we are based in the Bay Area, we invest across the US and Canada, with occasional investments in other geographies. Our largest portfolio concentrations are in the Bay Area, New York, and Los Angeles, but our portfolio also includes companies in Seattle, Toronto, Calgary, Atlanta, London, Sydney, Israel, and more. We usually invest between $500K and $1.5M. We are happy to lead/co-lead rounds or co-invest alongside other excellent partners. Our ultimate goal is to partner with great founders!
