About Fuerza Ventures

Fuerza Ventures is a Seattle-based venture capital firm, founded in 2020, that invests in pre-seed and seed-stage startups led by underrepresented founders. It is guided by a belief, drawn from César Chávez, that ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of the community. Its Fund 1 portfolio includes Kiddie Kredit, a mobile app that teaches children about credit through chores; ToDooly, a platform for hiring local students; Freeman Capital, a wealth management firm addressing the racial wealth gap; Kibo School, an online university; and Mirza, which helps parents budget for the costs that keep women from returning to work after childbirth. Its angel investments include Noula Health, a precision hormonal health company, Finix, a payment processing platform, and Career Karma, a career advice and job training platform. Fuerza backs founders in education, fintech, and health, focusing on problems that affect underserved communities.
