We started Freestyle in 2009 because we saw an opportunity to provide hands-on guidance and real-world operational experience to Internet founders with bold and disruptive ideas. Since we’ve been around the block (not to be confused with over-the-hill), we wanted to demystify venture capital and create a more transparent, aligned relationship between entrepreneur and investor. We are the ones who aren’t afraid to take risks. The ones who tell it like it is. The ones who can help negotiate multimillion-dollar deals and grab a beer with you to celebrate. Our cash is green but it’s not just about the money. It’s about providing real mentoring to help you succeed and the kind of relationship where neither of us sends calls from the other straight to VM.
