Frank Garland has advised and invested in a number of early-stage companies taking on the challenge of growing a substantial new business.
He has helped grow brands like The Weather Channel, The Travel Channel, The Tennis Channel, weather.com, HighSchoolSports.net, The U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Weather Trends, and Realtime Brackets. Along the way, he's worked on projects with The PGA Tour, MTV, CBS Sports, USA Today, and brands like Anheuser Busch, Gore-Tex, Nike, AgReliant, and many others.
He currently serves as a Consultant for The Players’ Lounge, an early-stage college sports-focused media company where student-athletes are compensated to tell their stories and express their opinions. He’s also a Consultant for Audazzio, a platform that embeds micro-signaling into an audio stream, broadcast, or live event, to seamlessly deliver content on a second screen fully synced with the event.
Part of his investment portfolio is Kanvas Labs, a mobile platform that allows its users to create micro-social networks around real-world experiences.
