Francis deSouza is a CEO, investor, and entrepreneur who is passionate about improving life through breakthrough technology. Francis co-founded SynthLabs (AI Alignment, with Microsoft and First Spark as investors), IMlogic (IT security, acquired by Symantec), and Flash Communications (instant messaging, acquired by Microsoft.) Former CEO of Illumina, President at Symantec, and Product Unit Manager at Microsoft. He graduated Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also completed Master Of Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the same school.
