Follow[the]Seed is a global, data-driven venture capital fund — fueled by passion, led by data — shifting away from the old VC paradigm. Operating as a post-seed algorithmic fund, its team spans Sydney, San Francisco, Tel Aviv, and Beijing with over three decades of combined startup-building experience. The firm has developed two proprietary data-driven methodologies: Reverse Problem Solving (RPS) for B2B, which works with large enterprises and Fortune 500 companies to uncover pain points before investing in the technology that solves them, and RavingFans®, a behavioral-psychology-based SDK identifying habit-forming B2C products at the earliest stages. It also runs a separate Blockchain/Web3.0-focused investment arm. Rather than a fixed sector focus, Follow[the]Seed identifies opportunities across B2B and B2C through its data-driven methodologies, having invested in over 90 companies to date across the tech landscape. Its investment criteria center on post-seed startups whose innovative idea answers an existing market need, demonstrated through hard data and solid numbers — geography and personal network connections are explicitly not required to be considered.
