Ethan Beard, Angel Investor

Ethan Beard is a technology executive, investor, and entrepreneur known for his work at the intersection of web3, creator tools, and venture ecosystems. He currently serves on the boards of Venture Lab and the Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco, where he helped establish the institution’s founding vision and governance framework. Previously, Ethan co-founded and led Yoz Labs, a crypto startup focused on the creator economy, and served as Senior Vice President at Ripple, overseeing its Xpring initiative to fund and build blockchain infrastructure for developers. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles in business development and partnerships across major tech platforms. As an angel investor, Ethan has made around fifteen investments across emerging technology, web3, and creative ecosystems, including Cosmology, Arkive, XMTP, and BeetsDAO, supporting founders redefining digital ownership, communication, and decentralized culture.
