Eric Gauthier, Angel Investor

Eric is an experienced innovator and long-time investor who gets involved in disruptive innovation and wisdom-based solutions to better the world. Eric is the lead investor at Ophanim Ventures which invests in impact-driven tech companies, in Canada and the US. Eric is involved in the Coventina Foundation, set to power Web 3.0 and deploy a series of asset-backed currencies enabling an equilibrium between the economy and the planet. Eric has co-founded the Tangle Lab Protocol designed to empower impact-driven tech companies and help align the passion of entrepreneurs with the truer needs of communities to ensure that all are free, coherent, and synergistic. Eric was an investor at AGHolding with his father André Gauthier and an innovation consultant at Sac'Be Creation and has been serving on the board of many technology companies. Eric Gauthier was CEO of Synopsis Solutions (1997-2007), a SAAS company specialized in powering online travel agencies (airlines, hotels, cars, packages) that he co-founded at the age of twenty. Synopsis technology was at the forefront of an entirely new way of selling travel. He was also CEO of Polar Web (2005-2007), which specialized in the development of websites and applications.
