Energy Trust Partners

The Energy Trust Partners funds ("ETP") make private equity investments in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. ETP's objective is to realize substantial equity returns by investing with experienced management teams engaged in building oil and gas reserves through acquisition, exploitation, exploration and development drilling, and related activities. The principals of ETP have extensive experience investing in the oil and gas industry. ETP has made approximately $1.0 billion in investments since inception across four funds and is managed by a group of dedicated personnel affiliated with Energy Trust LLC and the Energy Spectrum group. In addition to ETP, Energy Trust LLC and its predecessors have invested approximately $2.0 billion directly in the oil and gas industry since 1981, and the Energy Spectrum group manages private equity funds dedicated to the midstream sector of the energy industry (the Energy Spectrum Partners funds, or "ESP" ), with capital commitments in excess of $3.5 billion since 1996. ETP seeks highly capable management teams with demonstrable track records of success pursuing similar activities in their areas of expertise. We actively work with management teams to evaluate opportunities and make strategic decisions, review financing alternatives, and execute investment realizations. Investments are structured to align our interests with management, and to provide performance based incentives.
