DxAngels

About DxAngels

DxAngels is a San Francisco-based investment syndicate of Doximity alumni, physicians and health tech leaders, founded in 2024, investing in early-stage digital health startups. It grew out of the Belal Badat Ventures family office fund. The team brings experience from building Doximity, the largest medical network in the US, and mentors health startups for Techstars. Founders gain the combined expertise of dozens of Doximity alumni, tech-forward physicians and health tech leaders. DxAngels invests $300,000 to $500,000 in seed and Series A digital health startups. Investments include Nue Life Health, Wellnite, Oto Health, Cardiosense, RefAssured, Equi, Viable, Sellscale, Flourish Health, Maya AI and Klinic. The syndicate prefers companies beyond initial product-market fit that are ready to scale. Its family fund also writes angel checks into digital health startups from conception to growth stage.
