DKAM Ventures is the venture capital arm of Donville Kent Asset Management, a Toronto-based asset management firm. The venture unit focuses on investing in and supporting early-stage software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses, primarily across Canada. Its investment criteria center on SaaS companies raising Seed to Series A rounds. Its approach pairs capital with mentorship to help founders grow, and it welcomes funding requests directly from SaaS entrepreneurs. Portfolio companies include Boosted.ai, an AI-powered investment platform for asset managers; MedStack, a Toronto-based healthcare security and privacy compliance platform; and Frenter. Donville Kent participated in MedStack's seed and pre-Series A rounds.
