About DivInc

DivInc is a startup accelerator based in Austin, Texas, founded specifically for women and people of color. Rather than focusing solely on raising the floor for underrepresented entrepreneurs, DivInc aims to remove the ceiling, equipping diverse founders with the strategies critical to building and growing exceptional technology businesses. Its core offering is an intensive 12-week accelerator program, empowering entrepreneurs to imagine, plan, and execute venture opportunities of the highest caliber. Participants get matched with mentors for weekly meetings, gain one-on-one access to investors, and work alongside an on-site entrepreneur-in-residence, alongside immersive growth workshops, pitch coaching, and investor-readiness training led by notable tech founders and investors. DivInc runs several specialized program tracks beyond its flagship accelerator, including a Sports Tech Accelerator (health and wellness, fan experience, sports betting, and esports), a Clean Energy Accelerator, and a Social Justice Tech Accelerator addressing racial inequities in healthcare, education, housing, and criminal justice. The organization does not take equity in exchange for program participation, and has offered equity-free grants up to $10,000 to help startups reach their next phase of growth. DivInc looks for U.S.-based, for-profit companies with a scalable tech solution already built and ready for growth, or at minimum a working MVP ready by the end of the program. Applicants must be led by a woman or person-of-color founder who personally commits 25 to 30 hours per week to the company, with the CEO required to participate directly in the program; non-profits, agencies, and consultants are not eligible.
