Diverse Angels is a volunteer-based group that invests in venture-backed technology startups together as a community primarily made up of groups historically underrepresented in venture capital, angel investing, and entrepreneurship: Black, Latinx, and Women.
Diverse Angels is a mission-driven angel group. Our mission is to drive diversity in angel & venture communities to have more inclusive participation in wealth creation.
We charge 0% management fees and 00% carry fee on profits. i.e. Our angels PAY NO FEES.
Our ‘0/00 Model’ (“triple zero”) disrupts the standard ‘2/20 model’ (2% in fees & 20% of profits). We believe it keeps interests aligned and supports our mission and vision to bridge the wealth gap through tech + capital + equity.
