Digital Equity Capacity Kickstarter Grant Program (Notice of Funding Opportunity 3170-2571)

About Digital Equity Capacity Kickstarter Grant Program (Notice of Funding Opportunity 3170-2571)

The Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity wants to help organizations bridge the digital divide through the Digital Equity Capacity Kickstarter Grant Program. To be eligible, you must be a non-profit, tribe, or tribal organization based in the U.S. You'll need a valid FEIN and UEI, and a clean record with the state. Your organization should have experience serving low-income Illinois communities, be financially stable, and capable of managing a grant. Your project should focus on increasing affordable broadband access, offering digital literacy training, or building local capacity to tackle digital equity issues. Remember, you need to pre-qualify with DCEO and attend a technical assistance session, though it's optional
