When I was 18, I left the safety blanket of my very Northern English upbringing behind and spent six eye-opening months backpacking through the wilds of South America- in a time before social media was really even a thing. Throughout this life-changing adventure, I questioned what I was doing approximately 5,000 times. Dealing with sickness thousands of miles from home, abstract loneliness, language barriers, and unstable political regions provided a constant challenge, though I never gave in. I’m that person. Once I am dedicated to doing something, it will happen. That perseverance and hunger for new experiences has since driven me to uproot and settle in Melbourne, Australia, and to carve out a career in the Startup ecosystem, supporting the innovators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow who are changing our world as we know it. I'm a partnerships guru, a mentor, a connector, a hype man for those that I believe in, a global citizen, a budding Angel Investor, and a champion for the underrepresented and underprivileged.
