David Solsky, Angel Investor

After an early career in Accounting and Corporate Finance, I moved in 1997 into the exciting world of startups and technology. I have spent the last 25+ years building businesses across a number of different sectors including Telecommunications, IT Systems Integration, Disaster Recovery and most recently Climate and Sustainability. Whilst I have had a number of successful exits, I am particularly proud of what my team and I achieved at Envizi, a global leader in carbon accounting and sustainability software, which we sold to IBM in 2022. On my journey, I have been lucky to join forces with some amazing business partners and work with incredibly talented people, many of whom have become close friends. My current focus is investing in the Climate, Sustainability and Energy Transition sectors, as well as serving on the Boards of a number of Australian startups/scaleups. I enjoy mentoring and helping the next generation of entrepreneurs achieve their dreams.
