David Gogel, Angel Investor

David Gogel is the Chief Operating Officer at dYdX, a role he began in 2025. He is also the Founder and CEO of GogelX LLC, a consultancy launched in 2019 that advises blockchain and fintech startups. His prior engagements include work with the Wharton School, World Economic Forum, DirectBooks, CrossTower, Paperchain, and Axoni. As an angel investor, Gogel has supported ventures in blockchain and fintech. His recent portfolio includes fomo in consumer technology, GoldLink in financial infrastructure, and Ion Protocol in decentralized finance.
