Darren Thomas, Angel Investor

Darren Thomas is the Group Managing Director of Thomas Foods International (TFI). Under the stewardship of Darren and his father, Chris Thomas (company founder and now Executive Chairman), TFI has grown from a small family company into Australia’s largest 100% family-owned red meat processing company. TFI is headquartered in South Australia with operations across Australia and in key international locations. Darren is also an angel investor with investments in the early funding rounds. His portfolio includes Great Wrap, a firm that creates compostable cling wrap made from potato waste. Darren holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, is a former inaugural chair and board member of Brand South Australia, and a former member of the Economic Development Board.
