Adelman is a Philadelphia-based entrepreneur and active private investor. As the founder of Darco Capital, his family office investment vehicle, Adelman has made over 90 venture capital and growth capital investments ranging across climate tech, food, spirits, fintech, hospitality, sports & media, and consumer-facing brands, including: Cred.ai, Fanatics, Flowcode, Ollie Pets, Prolific Machines, and Fleetzero. He is the CEO of Philadelphia-based Campus Apartments, a nationwide provider of on-and off-campus student housing with more than two billion dollars of assets under management across 18 states, and co-founder and vice chairman of Future Standard (formerly known as FS Investments), a leading alternative asset manager with $86 billion of assets under management.
