Daniel John Fitzgerald, Angel Investor

Daniel John Fitzgerald is a robotics and interaction engineer currently working at Apple as an Interaction Algorithm Engineer, where he focuses on spatial gestures for visionOS. He brings a strong technical ethic rooted in hands-on problem solving across robotics, automation, and human–computer interaction. Previously, Daniel spent over two years at Charge Robotics developing automated construction solutions for solar sites, followed by nearly four years at iRobot as a Software Engineer. At iRobot, he built analytics and cloud-based tooling to evaluate SLAM performance, improve sensor calibration, and detect system regressions at scale. He is also an angel investor at an early stage. Daniel has invested in Accio Robotics, a robotics company focused on autonomous systems and intelligent machine-driven operations.
