About Dana Wichterman, Angel Investor
Dana Wichterman is engaged in management and advisory roles with nonprofits and faith-driven startups, as well as impact investing and philanthropy. She has extensive experience in international poverty alleviation and economic development.
As co-founder of a family foundation, she has spent 25 years working with entrepreneurs, investors, nonprofits, government, and think tanks to address local, national, and global challenges. Her areas of focus include building a faith-driven entrepreneur and investor ecosystem, poverty alleviation, justice in policy-making, stewardship, anti-human trafficking, racial reconciliation, and cultural renewal in the arts. Her calling is to “build community around ideas to the glory of God and the good of others.”
For over 15 years, Dana managed contracts for the U.S. Agency for International Development. Her responsibilities included writing and securing proposals totaling more than $60 million, managing international teams, overseeing monitoring and evaluation, and providing analysis and policy recommendations in economic development, microenterprise, trade, investment, and sustainability.
