Dan Deaton is an accomplished senior executive with 25+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He is dedicated to improving patients' lives through innovative therapies and advanced delivery systems. Proven expertise in leading high-performing teams to accelerate delivery of novel combination drug products, delivery devices, and digital health technologies. He currently serves as the Head of Inhaled Product Development at AstraZeneca, a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company with its headquarters at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He previous served in the Board of Directors at Community Workforce Solutions and Polarean, Inc. He was also a former Managing Director at Grayscope Development. Dan is also an angel investor and has been a member of a North Carolina-based angel group that invests in high technology and life sciences industries.
