Cyan Banister is an angel investor and venture capitalist. She’s the Owner of Banister Capital, one of her investment vehicles. She’s also the author of The Ugly Duckling, an online publication on Substack. She made over a hundred personal investments in various stages of the funding round including pre-seed, seed, series A, series B, and series C. Some of her most recent investments are in Superpower (health and life platform), Melengo (clothing manufacturing platform), Orson (video storytelling platform), Mother Science (biotech beauty brand), and TipTop (electronics resale platform).
