Curata Ventures is the angel investing platform of Pawan Deshpande, investing in AI-first and B2B SaaS founders at the seed and pre-seed stages. Pawan spent 13 years founding and scaling Curata, a content marketing SaaS company that served over 1,000 enterprise customers, including Google, IBM, and Oracle. He holds a computer science degree from MIT and has worked in product roles at AI infrastructure companies, including Scale AI and Domino Data Lab. His angel portfolio includes Toast (IPO 2021), Upside Foods, and LinkSquares. Curata Ventures focuses on three investment areas: B2B growth and marketing technology, AI-powered enterprise tools, and vertical SaaS with network effects. We invest in seed and Series A rounds, typically co-investing with institutional partners. Beyond capital, we help with product strategy, go-to-market execution, technical validation, and team building. We operate with a model that combines content-driven deal sourcing, proprietary AI tooling, and a network of co-investors to move quickly while maintaining rigorous diligence.
