Cortney Woodruff, Angel Investor

Cortney Woodruff is an American tech investor and entrepreneur, best known as the founder and CEO of Trainersvault and the co‑founder and CEO of Assemble, an online education platform. A former Division I athlete, he has built a career at the intersection of fitness, finance, technology, and entertainment. His mission centers on empowering Black and brown youth by connecting thought leaders across industries to a broad learning community. Over the course of his career, he has raised seed capital, lived in more than ten cities across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and cultivated a global perspective that informs his work. Based in Los Angeles, Cortney continues to expand his professional network and ventures while remaining dedicated to normalizing success in the Black community and creating opportunities through education and entrepreneurship.
