Coral Reef seeks to partner with outstanding management teams with proven track records, and provide them with strategic input and capital to accelerate growth. We focus on structuring investments that meet the unique requirements of each company and seller to create a win-win solution. The vast majority of our investment opportunities comprise of entrepreneur-owned defensible businesses that are sourced on a proprietary basis through our network of industry executives and partners, and we generally do not participate in auctions. We focus on developing a strategic plan with management and aligning financial incentives and goals at the outset. During our ownership period we seek to add value through active participation at the Board level while also allowing our portfolio companies to leverage Coral Reef's relationships around the world to improve operations and accelerate growth.
