Colin Preston, Angel Investor

Having previously led Baringa’s global Financial Services sector and its work in Climate & Sustainability with clients such as BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, and Citi, Colin has moved to Boulder, Colorado, and is now focusing primarily on investing in and advising climate tech start-ups. He continues to advise larger Financial Services and Investor clients and remains a senior adviser with Baringa on a part-time basis. Colin is passionate about helping climate start-ups accelerate growth and scaling environmental and social impact in parallel with proving and scaling commercial returns. He is helping start-ups to attract new investors and capital that are critical to sustaining and accelerating their growth. he has a portfolio of over 15 start-ups in which he is an angel investor. Colin is also helping investors to identify investment opportunities that align to their investment strategies - including angels, family offices, VCs, PEs, banks, and asset managers.
