Cistern Capital, "The Wellness VC," is a New York-based venture capital firm founded in 2023, investing at pre-seed and seed stage in holistic health and wellness across eight wellness dimensions. It backs early-stage companies redefining healthcare by reversing chronic disease and extending healthspan. Its focus areas include digital health, consumer health, wellness and fitness, food and beverage, AI, climate tech and education, with checks of $200,000 to $1 million. Investments include FoodNerd, a January 2026 seed round in which Cistern co-invested.
