Christian Gammill is a Venture Investor, Innovation Advisor, Founder Champion & Former Chemist. Chris has spent his entire career in the innovation economy ranging from his early days as a chemist at a startup in big pharma to his time building a multi-billion dollar innovation model at IBM to his current role as a thematic venture investor. He has invested in 100+ startups (GP), 10+ venture funds (LP) and advised a multitude of corporations across a breadth of themes, including Food/Ag/RestaurantTech with Chipotle at Cultivate Next, Industrial Transformation at Industrious Ventures and Future of Media/Enterprise at Technicolor Ventures. He has been fortunate to be mentored by a world-class research chemist, a brilliant World Economic Forum-level corporate strategist, and an OG Sand Hill road VC throughout his career. He is now bringing his decades of experience to bear as co-founder of Nextwave X Partners a firm focused on investing in innovation across a multitude of themes. He also had the honor of investing in venture franchises ranging from $10B AUM to <$10m Greenspring Associates (acq by StepStone), Top Tier Capital Partners, Bullpen Capital, Progression Fund, FreeFlow Ventures, Brilliant Ventures, as well as serving as an advisor to a handful of first-time fund managers.
