Chris Xu, Angel Investor

Dr. Xu is a California-based entrepreneur and investor in the life science and biomedical fields. Dr. Xu has founded and invested in more than a dozen life science companies, creating a combined market value exceeding $2 billion. He was the Founder of the Boyalife Group, a leading stem cell company in China; the Founder and Chairman of HealthBanks Group, a global company focused on cell and gene therapies (“CGT”) and life science investments; the Chairman of ImmuneCyte, a biopharmaceutical company that develops cutting edge synthetic biology approaches for manufacturing antibody drugs for cancer; and the Chairman of ThermoGenesis Corp, an innovative company that develops automated cell processing technologies and global DePIN infrastructure with blockchain technologies. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Dr. Xu held various managerial positions at Pfizer and other large technology conglomerates. Dr. Xu received a PhD in Immunology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and an executive MBA from Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Xu also held an adjunct professorship at the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Peking University.
