Chris Messina is an angel investor with backing spread across social commerce, developer tools, media, and AI-driven products. His recent investments include Hypercubic, VMind AI, Racket, and Uptime. His investments have concentrated in pre-seed and seed rounds, with those startups collectively raising anywhere from roughly $2 million to $5.3 million in total funding. Chris currently serves as General Partner at Ride Home Fund. He has also spent more than a decade shaping social technologies and product experiences, perhaps best known for creating the hashtag.
