About Chris Kaufman, Angel Investor

As a creative leader, entrepreneur, designer, and angel investor, Chris is passionate about supporting women and minority-led businesses, and initiatives that positively impact Detroit and the surrounding region. He is an advisor and investor in several startups, such as Onélogy, Bobblehaus, Tourus, Pink Moon, IRLY, The Social Club, and Detroit Pizza Depot. He also serves on the advisory boards of Eastern Michigan University's Master of Science in Management of Strategy and Innovation, GameAbove-EMU, and The George Washington University's Digital Marketing Program. He is a recipient of the Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year award from Eastern Michigan University and a Dare to Lead Trained certificate from Dare to Lead™. Chris is currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in 2D Design at the Cranbrook Academy of Art and Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change at Northwestern University, where he is also earning a graduate certificate in Organizational and Leadership Coaching. He holds a certificate of specialization in Strategy from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University. He has also been an adjunct professor at Baker College and an interactive design director at Quicken Loans. He is skilled in creative direction, digital marketing, brand development, and product design.
