Chere Chapman, Angel Investor

At work, I am a CEO, co-founder, epidemiologist, partnership broker, and devotee of purpose-led businesses as a force for social good. My epidemiology journey started when I was 10 and my big brother died of AML in Rothesay (the prettiest town in Canada!). Two other kids died of leukemia around that time, elevating rarity, statistical prognosis, and probable cause to regular dinner table conversation in the region. Losing Chris sparked my inner ‘carpe diem’ mentality and got me thinking early about health research. Fast forward to undergrad where I met two amazing men: the love of my life, Gord Cooper, and Dr. Rockwood, an incredible scientist who deftly mentored me through my first published health research project. Outside of work, I’m a volunteer, board director, mentor, and angel investor.
