Charlie Lee is a computer scientist and cryptocurrency innovator best known as the creator of Litecoin, one of the earliest and most widely used alternative digital currencies to Bitcoin. He serves as Director of the Litecoin Foundation, where he oversees the project’s ongoing technical development and global ecosystem. Before founding Litecoin, he was Director of Engineering at Coinbase and previously held engineering roles at Google.
