Charles Porter, Angel Investor

Chuck Porter is a lifelong technologist, consultant, educator, innovator, and investor. After working for a third of a century at Accenture, he completed his consulting career as Accenture’s Managing Partner – CIO in 2004. He “came out of retirement” in 2011 to serve 5 years as Seattle University’s inaugural CIO. He retired from Seattle University in July 2016. Since 2004, he has also taught Entrepreneurial Finance, New Venture Creation, and New Venture Consulting at Gonzaga University in Florence Italy, and Seattle University and serves on SU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Board. He is currently a member of Seattle University's Board of Trustees. He is active in the Seattle Angel Finance Community investing in numerous early stage companies and serving as a Board Member or Advisor to many of them. He was recognized as Puget Sound Venture Club’s “Member of the Year” in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.
