Chad Hurley is the Founder and CEO of EyeTell, a San Mateo–based technology company focused on digital media and storytelling innovation. Best known as the Co-Founder and former CEO of YouTube, he helped build the world’s largest online video platform, which was acquired by Google for $1.76 billion in 2006. Hurley was part of PayPal’s founding team, serving as its first designer and contributing to the development of the company’s iconic brand identity. His early experience in product design and user experience helped shape his entrepreneurial approach to building accessible, user-centric platforms. Hurley is also an active angel investor with about twenty investments across media, technology, and sports sectors. His portfolio includes companies such as Fantasy Life, Polycam, NocoDB, Socket, and Cal.com, primarily in seed and early-stage rounds.
