Cate Navarrete, Angel Investor

Cate Navarrete is an Emory BBA Junior, Social Entrepreneur, and Angel Investor. Cate Navarrete is a Cuban-American nonprofit founder, podcast host, and budding angel investor from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. At 16, Cate started Body Positive Alliance and its associated podcast, Generation Body Positive, to advocate for and represent all bodies regardless of physical ability, size, gender, race, or appearance. Cate's mission and advocacy work has been shared on the Emmy-nominated Nickelodeon program "Nick News," a Facebook Watch series hosted by social media star Avani Gregg, and more. Cate is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Business Administration at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University with a triple concentration in finance, organization and management, and film and media management. She is interested in ESG/impact investing with a focus on empowering marginalized entrepreneurs. Additionally, Cate is dedicated to promoting greater inclusivity in entertainment.
