Casey Neistat, Angel Investor

Casey Neistat has taken part in over a dozen investments as an angel investor, with a focus on consumer hardware, creator tools, and crypto. Recent additions to his portfolio include identity verification startup Self Protocol, webcam and consumer electronics maker Opal, and smartphone brand Nothing. Casey's deals span seed rounds, Series A and B financings, and an equity crowdfunding campaign. Total amounts raised in these rounds run from $3M to $50M, with Commsor's Series B at the top. He is a New York-based filmmaker known for the short films he releases online, including contributions to The New York Times' Op-Docs series. Casey also wrote, directed, and starred in HBO's The Neistat Brothers.
